Finding Work-Life Balance: Fact or Fiction?

Time management and work-life balance for independent educational consultants is a topic not frequently covered in sessions. This webinar will feature insights gathered from an industry wide survey on the topic of creating and maintaining a work-life balance. The goal is to identify time management tips, how to avoid common pitfalls, and to provide practical tools to participants to support their goal of creating work-life balance.
Cyndy has over thirty years’ experience as a counselor. She worked with the AVID program (an outreach program for first generation, under-represented youth) in Central California as a trainer of counselors and teachers on career and college preparation. She also founded McDonald & Associates, a private college counseling service in central California, where a majority of her students are first generation students. This has made college counseling enriching, especially since she is a first-generation college student herself.
Cyndy McDonald is a graduate of Westminster College (UT) with a degree in Behavioral Science, and a master’s in Education from Fresno Pacific University (CA). She also is a credential school counselor in the state of California, with a PPS credential. Cyndy is also a female entrepreneur—she is the founder of GuidedPath (a college counseling software) which is used by organizations across the world.
Cyndy has presented on college counseling and financial aid topics at the local, state, regional, and national level. As a recognized expert in this field. Cyndy continues to be an active member of multiple professional organizations: AICEP, NCAG, WACAC, NACAC.
